Rated 4/5 based on 3 customer reviews.
Pretty cool, but a little buggy. After fiddling with it for a while, I couldn't shut it off - finally, it crashed and reset itself. No problems since. The next update should correct that. Nice reinterpretation of a '70s era Marantz receiver, and you flick a thumbwheel to go from station to station. stations seem to load faster with this than other similar Internet apps. So far, so good... but I'm looking forward to the next tweak.
WFUV is included
This thing is terrific because the best radio station in the world is available to record and Listen to off-line, such as at sea on a ship.
Before I review, some comments on previous reviews..
I don't think the fact that it didn't "turn off" is a bug.. the creators of the app can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's designed to stay on (via the new multi-tasking iOS) so that you can continue to listen while doing other things!! I'm listening right now as I write this in the App Store.
To the reviewer who said only 30 stations? Read more carefully.. that's 30 PRESETS you can have selected from TENS OF THOUSANDS of Stations!
So yes, I do love this app. It's well worth the 1.99 price and is extremely well done! If you want to listen to internet radio, or take messages/do your own recordings, this app is DA BOMB.
